Walt Disney as urban planner
Fellow urbanists (as well as Mickey Mouse fans) will find this review, by Julianna Delgado of a book by Sam Gennawey, fascinating. Was Walt's vision fascist? Or communist? Or neither of the above? It sure wasn't democratic, but designed to be people-pleasing. Which is the essence of the patrician view of the world.
